Half an hour before the true and ancient Court Leet of Wareham were
due at the Black Bear to conduct their official duties, a bunch
of women attempted to hold their own court.
They brought with them: Cocktail Tasters, Chimney Dusters, Breadweigherettes,
Scavengerettes and even a tiny bell ringer.
Luckily, most of their proceedings were drowned-out by the Wareham
Whalers shanty crew.
At 9pm the true Court arrived and all returned to normal. |
